Beautiful Praise

The Word is captivating. Simply it is.

Since Tuesday, Psalm 147:1 has captured my thoughts and my imagination. 

Praise the Lord!
For it is good to sing praises to our God;
For it is pleasant, and praise is beautiful. (Psalm 147:1 NKJV, emphasis mine)

Had me thinking about all things beautiful. 

I am so captivated by this scripture I shared about it in our Wednesday morning women's bible study. I asked my daughters what they think is beautiful. I posted the scripture on my Twitter and FB. I repeat it over and over to myself. I prayed to the Lord about it. I pondered my praise and I then pondered all reasons I praise. 

I retraced in my mind many moments I found where that scripture was fulfilled in my life.  Here sitting on top of Mount Constitution was a recent one. 

And here, partaking in the pure beauty of His creation. 

Are there moments in your days that capture you? Beautiful moments? 

Where ALL you can do is offer a 'thank you God'? and let you heart overflow and gush with gratitude, with thankfulness, with love to Him, with praise: beautiful praise.

So many beautiful praise moments to capture .. 

A child's laugh. Beautiful Praise.

Overcoming addiction. Beautiful Praise.

Choosing Truth. Beautiful Praise.

Married for 50 years. Beautiful Praise.

Prayer for the first time. Beautiful Praise.

Faith. Trust. Hope. Love. Peace. Beautiful Praise.

Might your mind also be captivated by moments of beautiful praise today. Lift your voice, your heart and your praise. 

It is beautiful.
